The event manager will be responsible for coordinating between kitchen staff, service staff, vendors, and clients to ensure that each event is seamlessly executed at the highest level of service expected of Paramount staff.
The Events Manager will directly perform hands-on work on an ongoing basis to train employees and continuously assure that a high level of service is maintained.
The events manager will be expected to otherwise role model appropriate behaviors to staff on a continual basis both in and outside of the event setting.
Strong customer service and strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and conduct the flow of entire events are qualities needed by the event manager.
The ability to motivate and develop employees is required.
Manager performance is measured by the overall ability to completely and smoothly execute events whilst maintaining the high standard of quality service that is expected of our country club.
This is further measured by the performance of the employees in providing consistent quality guest experiences.
Minimum Requirements Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends and holidays with open availability, closing weddings and catering events.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, employees and clientele while listening to concerns when necessary.
Ability to manage a team of waitstaff throughout each event to ensure proper execution Extensive customer service and resolution skills Excellent communication skills Team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills Ability to demonstrate professionalism and poise at all times even under pressure Must be able to work independently.
Strong Word/Excel/Design (Canva) or similar skills to create menus and event signage Minimum 1 year experience in event management Compensation The Club will offer a competitive compensation plan, commensurate with experience, potential for bonus, expenses, etc About the Club Established in 1920, Paramount Country Club is a privately owned, private membership country club.
Serving more than 300 member families, Paramount's 200
