Summary:
Today's Students Tomorrow's Teachers (TSTT) is expanding its footprint in Rockland County, NY, Greater Connecticut, Westchester County, NY and Mid-Hudson Valley, NY.

Today's Students, Tomorrow's Teachers (TSTT) is a program that recruits, mentors, and trains culturally diverse and economically challenged students from high school through college and places them as effective teachers and committed leaders who strengthen schools and communities.
TSTT is currently seeking a Regional Program Coordinator (RPC) to provide additional administrative support for the implementation of TSTT's 8-year, full-circle career development model.
The RPC will coordinate key components of the Middle School Student Leadership Movement (SLM) Initiative, the High School Program, and the College Program to ensure that the goals, objectives, and all program outcomes are met in accordance with established priorities, timelines, and funding capabilities.
Support includes, but is not limited to student recruitment, selection, and tracking; data management and reporting; and implementing the program in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
Essential Duties:
Recruit and select TSTT student participants Maintain student records and databases Track middle school, high school, and college students Collect, analyze, and report on student data (Enrollment, Program Participation, and Administrative) Schedule and coordinate the logistics of workshops, monthly meetings, and events (venues, transportation, food, etc.
), for the SLM and High School programs Follow up with school districts, colleges, and universities newly identified to participate in the TSTT program Schedule meetings and follow-up sessions for students, parents, and school personnel Supervise the daily implementation of the TSTT SLM and High School Programs Act as program representative at meetings, recruitment activities, career fairs, school and college events, conferences, and workshops as necessary Any other duties assigned as necessary Minimum
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must have:
A Bachelor's degree in Education from an accredited college/university; Master's degree preferred A minimum of two years of teaching or administrative/coordinator program management experience which focuses on youth development, education, and/or counseling.
School experience preferred The qualified candidate should have:
A general knowledge of the administrative and pedagogical processes of public schools and institutions of higher education Familiarity with the not-for-profit sector or a combination of comparable experiences A strong interest in career development, education, and youth development A desire to work with and support middle school, high school and college students Collaborative leadership and intuitive interpersonal and customer service skills with all stakeholders Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Exceptional strategic planning, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities Experience with or working knowledge of budget management An intermediate to advanced working knowledge of information systems, i.

Microsoft Office Suite, and related software programs.
The ability to speak a language other than English (Especially Spanish) is a plus Work Location and Travel:
