We are looking for a Legal Secretary to provide personalized, high-quality legal services to our clients.
Responsibilities Provide administrative support to attorneys and clients Answer phones and respond to emails Follow up with clients and follow up with voicemail messages Scan, file, and mail documents Handle incoming calls and phone calls from clients Schedule appointments for attorneys Prepare and file documents in the appropriate courts Receive, sort, and distribute mail at the office each day Maintain office supplies inventory and order products for office use (e.
g.
, office paper) Maintain the calendar for the office, including making appointments for attorneys and clients.
Provide information about events that are scheduled in the calendar.
Other duties as assigned by the attorney or client.
Experience:
2 years of experience in a legal setting (preferred) Experience working with a small law firm is preferred but not required.
We are willing to train the right candidate! Experience working with an electronic court management system is preferred but not required.
