2 New City, NY New City, NY PRN PRN $28 an hour $28 an hour Friedwald Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is actively seeking a Per Diem COTA/L to join our Therapy Team! As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work in a team where you will provide compassionate and quality care in a secure setting.
Under the direct supervision of the Occupational Therapist, you will implement the resident's Care Plan for rehabilitation.
COTA
Responsibilities:
Help residents to participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
Communicate resident progress or problems to the supervisor and other team members.
Assist with resident scheduling and post charges daily to resident records.
Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
COTA Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program The current state of New York licensure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Experience in Long Term Care Must be vaccinated against Covid Pay:
$28.
